Activities that have been carried out contribute to sustainable development goals to end poverty. This is because the implementation of activities will involve various communities. This activity will provide employment opportunities in the process of implementing activities, coordinating activities, and monitoring activities. All communities can have the same opportunity to fill job positions according to their skills.
Workers and communities who are part of the implementation of activities will receive education and training on how to collect data which includes making observation plots, measuring trees or forest inventory, and recording data during the implementation of activities.
The activities that have been carried out support the establishment of social equality by eliminating social inequalities and encouraging all community members regardless of income, position, or gender. Women can play a role in the decision-making process and implementation of activities. This activity can be a livelihood opportunity for women.
The implementation of activities will help build the economy by increasing community income through, among other things, the development of Mixed Dryland Farming (PLKC) that can be managed by communities around the forest under license from the company. This project activity also provides employment for workers who have skills in management and data processing.
Mitigation action activities by means of protection of HCV species, enrichment of shrub areas, implementation of RIL C, reforestation activities, prevention of unplanned deforestation, and agroforestry development in Mixed Dryland Farming (PLKC) areas that will be carried out will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving ecological quality through increased knowledge, awareness, and education of the community.
Project activities are planned to maintain carbon storage and increase carbon sequestration with several mitigation actions such as protection of HCV species, enrichment of shrub areas, implementation of RIL C, reforestation activities, prevention of unplanned deforestation, and agricultural development on Mixed Dryland Farming (PLKC) areas. These mitigation actions help improve ecosystem conditions, improve wildlife habitat conditions, build sustainable forest management to maintain and improve the quality and quantity of stands/vegetation.
